This is very good. I have never read a Seychelles
Newspaper before! I know the meaning of 'dalon'.
Is it 'friend'? Their creole is slightly different
to that spoken in Mauritius.

Sometimes naked, sometimes mad,
Now a scholar, now as a fool,
Thus they appear on earth -
The free men!

If you visit the Seychelles Newspaper and
watch the videos there, you will be surprised how
beautiful Seychelles is. With 100 Paradise islands
I think one day it will pass Mauritius as far
as tourism is concerned. It will become the
richest country in the Indian Ocean because of
its small population (about 80,000 currently).
Also, it does not have to worry about cyclones
being so close to the equator.

Lou, in fact, the Seychelles have a higher GNP than Mauritius (I recall reading about this a few years ago- I will look for the article) and they attract many more tourists haut-de-gamme than Mauritius (by "haut-de-gamme", I mean tourists with higher spending power).
