I have the latest iTunes version but still get
the frequent interruptions and I have to restart
the streaming. Unfortunately I do not think there
is a WinAmp version for Apple computers.
Sometimes naked, sometimes mad,
Now a scholar, now as a fool,

Try altering your iTunes settings to the following and see if there is any improvement in the streaming playback:
iTunes -> Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Streaming Buffer Size -> (Set to large)

I have tried oranges, grapefruit (pink & yellow!), peaches (yellow & white!)
and pomgrenate and still no luck (joke)  . I chose Apple because it is
almost virus proof. Nearly two years and not a single one!
Now seriously. Thanks DinaRobin for trying to help. When I checked
Streamimg Buffer Size, it was already set to "large". I do not think
this is the problem because it does not appear with other mauritian
internet radio stations.

Lou, I tested a Mac (OS X) yesterday but could not reproduce the staccato playback problem you are encountering. If you are up for it, try VLC player.

This is unsupported by NouTiZil, but may well work on your system.

Thanks DinaRobin. I have MAC OSX 10.3.9. I have had
VLC on this machine for months and I have tried to
use it several times but itunes always gets in the way -
jumping in front. Anyway I can only keep trying.
